Dr. Michael Brown (Sort of) Approves of These “Fine Christians…” Watch at your Own Risk!

Steve Kozar over at Museum of Idolatry put together a video to show how false teachers such as Heidi Baker and Bill & Beni Johnson of Bethel Church in Redding, CA use repetitive phrases and repetitive music to induce their audience into a trance-like state. You will see ordinary folks, who’ve been hypnotized, doing the most bizarre things imaginable, believing that the Holy Spirit is responsible for what they’re experiencing. Kozar begins with a warning to those who view the video that some might find what they see very disturbing.  Here’s what prompted the headline:

Recently, in an exchange on his Facebook page, Dr. Michael Brown was challenged  to call out these false teachers in order to protect his listeners from their very bad doctrine. False teachers like Jennifer LeClaire, Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson and Benny Hinn. Nobody suggested that Dr. Brown personally attack these people, but simply compare their teachings to Scripture. He repeatedly refused. Strangely,  he did not fully endorse them; instead he used vague generalizations like “as far as I know these are fine Christians.”  Dr. Brown wants to be respected as a very knowledgeable scholar and expert, but he continually expresses ignorance about the people and teachings from within his very own movement. Dr. Brown promotes these people on his own radio show, and he’s been a guest on Benny Hinn’s TV show.

Here are a few screen shots where Dr. Michael Brown (vaguely) supports these people and says “the greater error I see is what some folks are posting here, sad to say.”   Continue reading

If Dr. Brown is genuine, he would call these people for what they’re own words accuse them of being….rank apostates!

“the greater error I see is what some folks are posting here, sad to say.”

No Dr. Brown, the greater error is to defend or approve of these antichristian charlatans! What does the bible say about mixing with false prophets and false teachers? What you should do is call these wolves out! Don’t hide behind false humility and the “don’t judge” paradigm propogated by the same beasts that arrogantly proclaim to be apostles and sell the name of Jesus Christ for a dollar! This is shameful and it will be judged oh so most sternly. Remember, “Lord, Lord, in your name didn’t we…………?

Why ask Michael Brown to call out false teachers, according to the theology of this site it makes more sense to ask God if he has given Dr. Brown the grace to do it or at least ask God if he will because he already determined it. Either way Michael Brown will be held accountable, right?

I’m not “this site.” And Michael Briwn, who pupirts to be a teacher will be held to the standard of a teacher or one who claims to be. James 3:1

“My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.”

Wasn’t talking to you Manny. Carry on!

A bit of yeast ruins the whole batch, he might get some issues right from time to time as a broken clock is right twice a day! I agree Amy, he does want to be seen as some sort of relevant peacemaker, while the truth is sacrificed on the altar of compromise. Sad indeed.

Amy’s comment reminds me that the NAR teaches a “culture of honor” that discourages saying anything negative about NAR leaders (prophets/apostles) because God has supposedly anointed them in their positions in the hierarchy of the NAR. This practice, of course, suppresses critical thinking and is very cultic.

That’s correct Maggie, that’s their shroud of protection, “don’t touch God’s anointed.” What utter rank apostasy. As if God would bless that brood of vipers. How can’t people not see through this, it’s so blatant and obvious. Such a sad state of affairs, truly as foretold.

Amy, I don’t have a problem calling out Michael Brown just the theology that says God has predestined everything. Kind of useless to ask Brown to change if he is incapable.

Lol! Threw me a curve brother! I know what you mean! I’ve been praying for us all…… I wish we had space here to post relevant happenings, I know this is not an eschatological ministry, but there’s so much going on of late that it all is beginning to converge. From rank apostasy to economics and politics…….to the huge ecumenical wave growing daily.

Interesting. I posted a comment on AskDrBrown’s facebook page simply noting that there were no such thing as false prophets anymore, just misguided beluevers.

I also noted that since Michael Brown wouldn’t investigate Benny Hinn, the FBI would be up to the task, complete with link to the FBI raid of Benny Hinn headquarters in Grapevine, TX late last month.

Apparently thats a big no-no, as the comment was deleted and I was banned.

I guess ole Benny still makes the cut for Dr Brown.

    Hello Jason,

Like a cult, they circle the wagons to protect their own. Dr. Brown is a defacto member.
