Watch the video below and you will see liberalism at work in the Church. What you will witness, brethren, is “progressive” aka “social justice” Christianity, which is not true Christianity; it is a counterfeit. In his piece Mike Ratliff of Possessing the Treasure lays out what authentic Christianity should look like, according to what the Bible teaches. But if we examine the views held by a large number of “Millennials” we don’t find very many Bible believing Christians. What we find instead is that our younger generation has out right rejected the clear teaching of Scripture.

I am sure many of you have come across the following video that many younger “Christian leaders” are saying defines Christianity in the eyes of the “Millennials.”
In 1 John 2:28-3:10, the Apostle John gives us “evidence” that is most definitely not “politically correct” that will enable us to determine those who really are the genuine children of God and those who aren’t. Of course, we should take a close examination of ourselves as we go through this passage.
Start by reading 1 John 2:28,29, which I placed at the top of this post. Abiding is vital for believers. What is that? Is a continual, robust, maintaining of one’s personal relationship with Christ. That means prayer and living in His Word. It is through this that we are transformed through the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). In this, we will be kept from straying into doctrine or conduct of which we will be ashamed at his coming. Think of what it will be like at his coming. What if it was today or tomorrow? Would you have the confidence in how you are abiding in him to not be ashamed at his coming? Wouldn’t it be far better to abide in him as a way of life and, therefore, have confidence because of a clear conscience? Continue reading
It’s not even a good counterfeit. It is so obviously not Christian to even the novice.
The scripture refutes every word that was spoken in the video. They obviously live according to their senses and not God’s word. James said it like this “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation(lifestyle) his works with meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”
This is the wisdom heard in this video from people who have received the spirit of the world and not the Spirit of God.
