Heresy Hunter’s Open letter to Michael Brown…

In letter posted a few days ago, Churchwatch Central (CWC) had a lot to say to Dr. Michael Brown, who is a charismatic, for calling those of us who are involved in online apologetics and discernment ministries “self-appointed heresy hunters.” Actually, what we are is “wolf hunters.” The name fits, as we’re the ones who go after wolves in sheep’s clothing who are savaging the sheep.  Some of those we call out are New Apostolic Reformation self-appointed prophets and apostles who’ve introduced every heresy imaginable into the visible Church. In short, wolf hunters report on anyone who doesn’t hold to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith.

Wolf hunters fear God, not man; thus, we will often “names names.” One of the names we’ve brought to the attention of the Christian community is prominent apologist Michael Brown (here).  Why?  For sending wolves into sheep pens.  Dr. Brown responded to what some bloggers were reporting about him — and CWC has hit back.

Dear Dr. Brown,

Recently you took aim at Christians and labeled them as, “self-appointed heresy hunters” who “are like a doctor who amputated his patient’s head because the patient needed eye-glasses.” You went as far as to painting them to be “like the hypocrites Jesus spoke of who strained out a gnat yet swallowed a camel.” You’ve unfairly stereotyped them by claiming they are “damning some of God’s children to hell because of a difference over a non-essential doctrine or practice.”

We already know what you think about us with your false accusations and your fallacious arguments as to ignore the claims about you and your theological practices and leanings. Yet you hold to an ideal in hoping “God reveal to them the fullness of His truth and love, and may the discover the fullness of the Spirit’s power.”

Do you sincerely want that desire to come to pass? Then keep supporting your NAR Apostle and Prophet friends. Keep strengthening the “relational structures” of your NAR network and keep promoting a culture of ‘unity’ at the expense of love and truth.

Because you and your ministry are producing more Bereans (those you call Heresy Hunters). And thanks to you for being the false NAR Apostle you are (along with all other false prophets and false teachers in the pulpits)…  Continue reading

I personally believe this is a man with some Bible knowledge who takes pleasure in talking and debating. I believe he is devoid of wisdom. I once heard him say that he used to believe in the doctrine of election unto salvation, but changed his position to man’s free will to choose to be saved. Now he debates against God’s election in favor of man’s free will. That made clear to me that he was not being led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not lead one away from the truth into a lie. That exposes him as a false teacher. To understand the magnificent doctrine of election is never to return to the deceptive heresy of “free will.” I’ve also listened to him “preach” and his subject matter was all about his personal experiences. He’s a man of many words, but they don’t consist of the truth, just the same as the false teachers he defends…a pack of wolves.

Excellent comment Sheryl. To leave sound biblical doctrine for doctrines of demons is very telling. Brown doesn’t have a solid foundation and we know what happens when the foundation is built on sand.
The doctrine of free will is explained by Michael Bunker in chapter two of his book ‘a swarm of locusts’. It’s very interesting to read how the Jesuits are behind this heresy –

The wisdom of man is but foolishness to God! Mr. Brown exchanged the knowledge of God for the foolishness of the world, he loves to get the approval of man instead of God’s. The way things are now, if you’re expounding truth, you won’t be popular, especially amongst those that name the name of Jesus, claim Jesus, but in reality are ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing! Beware of the times we live in! Many are coming forth claiming Christ, coming forward in His name, but they’re fakes……only by staying grounded in scripture, by daily prayer and most of all being under guidance of The Holy Spirit can we avoid this rampant deception! The Great Apostasy is unfurling before our eyes!!!
