A big thank you to all of you who stop by and read the articles, leave comments, and share truth! 2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of Berean Research.
I took a two-month hiatus from posting blog articles at the end of 2024, as I’ve been recovering from surgery (full knee replacement!), but am now ready to research and write again. So much is happening in Christendom, and I hope to keep up with it all.
Not that any of this is about me, but here’s what I’ve been up to if you are curious:
- I continue to help women discern on the podcast I co-host with Michelle Lesley called A Word Fitly Spoken. Consider giving this one a listen.
- In April 2025, I’ll be speaking for the third time at the Answers for Genesis conference for women, called Resolute. I’ve spoken in the past about the New Apostolic Reformation and on other various movements infecting the Church. This year I will be presenting on the yeast of the so-called Progressive Christianity movement – which seems to be gaining momentum. It will be a challenging topic, but one I know very well as I grew up in this ideology. Praise the Lord for saving me out of it!
- I started co-hosting a few episodes with Dave Jenkins on his Contending for the Word Podcast. Check it out.
- Our rural Wisconsin church is small but growing. I love serving here and am enjoying leading our ladies in Bible study.
- Last May I left my job as a digital marketer for a local nonprofit that had gone woke. I knew if I didn’t leave, I would have been forced to compromise and promote that which goes against Christ. Lovely people. I explained why and left on good terms. I talk about my experience navigating the woke workplace here.
- Ladies, if you’d like for me to speak at your women’s event on biblical issues or any of the topics you see here at Berean Research, I’d be happy to come and share. I always include Scripture and the full Gospel wherever I go.
Thanks again for all your prayers, and may God allow BR another 10 years.
God Bless,
Amy Spreeman
Hi Amy!
As a pastor of a church in a small town, we may not have some of the woke-ism that has infiltrated some of the big city and bigger churches, but I am still interested in reading on it in order to discern. Keep posting. Also, I had a full knee replacement on 11/11. I was able to have a doctor who didn’t want to replace it when I was so young (62) so he was able to hold off until I was 72. 🙂 I’m glad to have had it done. I hope you are recovering well.
Thank you Bill! I had mine 4 days before you had yours. Recovery is going great! I pray yours is as well.
