What does religion and “human cyborgs” have to do with Spiritual Transformation on a global scale? I wrote the following in 2013, and recently dug it up and read it again. Back then it was science fiction. These days, the technological advances we’re seeing makes this more plausible.
It’s interesting to see how much of this transhuman trajectory has continued to move forward over the past decade. Keep in mind that 2045 is now just 20 years away. Lord have Mercy.
(2013) In New York City, the second international Global Future 2045 congress will converge at the Lincoln Center to discuss a new evolutionary strategy for humanity, merging two revolutions in the spiritual and science/technology realms.
The event on June 15th – 16th is a gathering of the world’s leading specialists in the field of neural interfaces, robotics, artificial organs and systems, who will launch a brand new vision for the “spiritual transformation of humanity.” This is quite possibly the most heart-stopping convergence I’ve heard yet. And when I say heart-stopping, I mean in the literal sense. There is a group of international scientists and spiritual/religious leaders converging to talk about how we could all be immortal by 2045.
This congress will introduce the world to its Avatar mega-project, which will enable a gradual transition from our biological bodies to an increasingly advanced artificial carrier of the human self. That’s right. Your spiritual essence transported into a robot. Why? Because humankind is on the verge of collapse, and we can either regress into the dark ages, or evolve into a new civilization, requiring the deepest social and spiritual transformation. “We believe this is the only way to overcome existing crises,” says it’s GF2045 website:
The main science mega-project of the 2045 Initiative aims to create technologies enabling the transfer of a individual’s personality to a more advanced non-biological carrier, and extending life, including to the point of immortality. We devote particular attention to enabling the fullest possible dialogue between the world’s major spiritual traditions, science and society. SOURCE
These scientists say we will soon have the technology to develop unimaginable human cognitive abilities, create humanoid robots and cyborgs, and with the help of nanotechnology, transfer our personalities into robots. Away from the murder of nature and physical death, forward to the realm of infinite freedom. The race for immortality starts, but it all requires new philosophy, spirituality and ideology to keep us from going astray, says the promotional video:
Again, this is the second such convergence. The first GF2045 congress took place in Moscow in February 2012, organized by the strategic social movement Russia 2045, a.k.a The 2045 Initiative. Its main goal was a discussion of global threats and opportunities arising from the development of new technologies. Some 1,500 participants took part, with 50 speakers from countries around the world, including the USA, the Netherlands and Australia.
Neohumanity
Imagine in 20 more years discovering a new way to take the brain and transplant into an avatar. Yes, that’s what they’re calling it: an avatar. By 2025, this avatar will completely transmit all of our senses through nanotechnological organs, and by 2040 we can completely transfer our personalities into the “carrier.”
Here is the timeline:
All of this, according to the website, requires drastic changes in social structure. The main goal for neohumanity in 2045 will be spiritual transformation and self improvement. War and violence will be unacceptable.
World Core Curriculum: How education fits in
This futuristic planning began in the late sixties, when a group called the International Institute for Sustainable Development began pointing to a radical shift emphasizing “global thinking” and “planetary norms” for the way we educate our young people. Follow me here: According to the IISD literature, “the task of education for the immediate future is to assist in activating an ethic of planetary sensitivity… We must pass from a human-centered to an earth-centered sense of reality and value.”
This “global-shift role” for general education is a foundational platform for UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Back in 1968, UNESCO, along with The Twentieth Century Fund (now called The Century Foundation) and the Ford Foundation, helped start a new educational body located in Geneva, Switzerland; the International Baccalaureate Organization, or IBO. The IBO curriculum has, for over 35 years, emphasized that its students broaden their understanding of various cultures, languages, and points of view.
In other words, political correctness and tolerance on an international scale was the new way to peace. It starts locally and goes globally. (“Glocal.”) The IBO soon adopted and advanced the Earth Charter – an earth-centered declaration that venerates global political-ethical-moral and spiritual unification.
A former high-ranking UN official, Robert Muller, received the UNESCO Peace Education Prize for his work in developing a World Core Curriculum. He writes in his book, New Genesis: Shaping a Global Spirituality, that the Earth Charter offers the world a blueprint for a new, spiritual vision of human destiny:
“…humankind is seeking no less than its reunion with the “divine,” its transcendence into ever higher forms of life. Hindus call our earth Brahma, or God, for they rightly see no difference between our earth and the divine. This ancient simple truth is slowly dawning again upon humanity. Its full flowering will be the real, great new story of humanity, as we are about to enter our cosmic age and to become what we were always meant to be: the planet of God.”
Muller’s World Core Curriculum is firmly grounded in New Age concepts of man’s deification and “Earth spirituality.”
“We must manage our globe so as to permit the endless stream of humans admitted to the miracle of life to fulfill their lives physically, mental, morally and spiritually as has never been possible before in our entire evolution. Global education must prepare our children for the coming of an independent… happy planetary age.”

Are you beginning to connect the dots between education, “political correctness,” and our apostate churches leading us into a “unified” religion? How will you prepare? Will you go on about your life, eating and drinking and marrying, or will you make an effort to study God’s Word and draw close to Him, trusting in His plan and His redemption for those who understand the times we are in and cling to the truth of Christ?
