Sid Roth’s new Middle East Television Network to reach millions

screen-shot-2016-10-12-at-1-41-58-pmThis is not good news. If you know anything about the theology of Sid Roth (“It’s Supernatural”) or his guests, then you understand that the announcement that Sid will reach an additional 150 Million viewers in the Middle East is concerning.

How many of them will be duped into the New Apostolic Reformation’s signs and wonders, spiritual warfare and demonic indwellings as told by false teachers that frequently promote their latest book or DVD programs on Sid’s show?

Here’s the announcement, followed by some recent links:

I am excited to announce that God has just blessed us with our most supernatural opportunity ever! We have just purchased Middle East Television Network (METV)! This network reaches a potential audience of 150 million viewers in 25 countries in the Middle East every day including Israel, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Sudan, and more.

Jewish and Gentile men, women and children will hear the Gospel through It’s Supernatural! and through new TV programs specially designed for the Middle East to introduce them to Jesus as Messiah and Lord.

Every home in Israel with a TV has the ability to watch METV. Imagine how—through your partnership with Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural!—you will be helping to reach both Jews and Arabs in the land where Jesus will soon return!

History is being made! It was in God’s sovereign plan that we would be the recipient of this end-time TV network for such a time as this.

You’re correct Amy, that’s why online discernment ministries are so important. Ministries such as this one will be accessed by people in the Middle East, specially younger people who frequent the net, many will be led by The Lord to see that within Christianity there is a battle raging, a division is building. What we need to do is spread the word, The Lord promised the gates of hell will not prevail against His bride! Though it is disturbing news, be aware that they won’t be the first spreading heresy in the Middle East, TBN has been doing it for a while. So we must go about The Lord’s business and be steadfast He is doing the dividing. We will be doing the proclaiming. God bless you Amy and this ministry. Many come here for advice, knowledge and fellowship. May our GOD bless His own, Maranatha!

Christian tv is pretty much an abomination all around. To get into that system you almost have to be a worldly compromiser who rarely or never addresses what really matters…sin, repentance and the atoning work of Jesus Christ…washing away our sins with his blood:

      Good afternoon SS,

That seems to be the rule of thumb for “Christian” tv and modern “Christian” witnessing!

  3. TONI WILLIAMSON October 13, 2016 at 5:55 pm #

God is not please with those who speak things against His people that they do not understand. Every ministry of God that tackles the evil in the world is necessary and only in unity will we win. Why yearly tear down every needed effort and thus allow Satan’s kingdom to grow because you spend your time judging your brothers with things you cannot prove nor invoke punishment upon. You are needed and more vital to the kingdom of God by taking up your cross, and fighting your stand of faith against the dark principalities of this world that the Bible stresses are not the people, but spiritual wickedness in high places. Get the right focus or do not speak at all!!!

    • Sola Scriptura October 13, 2016 at 7:32 pm #

Toni – We are actually told to judge by Jesus Christ himself in John 7:24, and we are told countless times by Jesus, Paul and Peter to protect the flock from ferocious wolves masquerading as sheep. Furthermore, Ezekiel 3 states that those who are called to be watchmen will have the blood of the flock on their hands if they see danger coming but fail top point it out. I see danger, and consider yourself warned.
What you say about judging is not even remotely close to scriptural, instead it is an oft misused phrase, thrown out there by the wolves themselves lest someone call them to account and harm their ca$h flow. It’s kind of like “God helps those who help themselves.” It ain’t biblical but sort of sounds like it should be.
If you truly care to see what the scriptures say on judging, here are two good places to start. I wish you peace and truth through the blood of the lamb, who washed us from our sins in his own blood:

….And thanks Manny. We must turn off the tv ad pick up the word.

Sid Roth is a charlatan, a date setter, a con man, with a willing cadre of blind followers who are biblically ignorant, undiscerning and fooled out of their money. If you are really serious about who Sid Roth is and what he preaches, the net is full of videos and articles on said heresy. You follow and defend him at your own peril. Being a shill for an obvious wolf is not following Jesus Christ. I’m simply too tired to give you all the evidence you need, please do your homework.

  4. I love Sid Roth October 13, 2016 at 8:27 pm #

Huh, what is this? How can you say that this is not good news to bring the gospel to the middle east? Is this a Christian site or what? I’m confused!

    • Sola Scriptura October 14, 2016 at 11:02 am #

The gospel?? I don’t think that anyone on these silly tv shows are telling people that Jesus Christ loves them and paid for their sins with his own blood, therefore repent and turn your heart to him from sin because he is risen.
…That, I have never heard. Vain stories of angelic visitations (in direct violation of Colossians 3) abound – yet no references to repentance and salvation through the blood are ever spoken. This….is what must be preached to truly be of Christ:

First of all forgive me if I am offending you in any way. my intentions are not to discredit anyone on this website butt I couldn’t read the things I read and be silent. If anyone has ever watched a single Said Roth show in its entirety then you would know at the end of each program he speaks of repentance and accepting Jesus as Lord. If you don’t believe in Angelic visitations or dreams and visions and all the other things that the Bible talks about that are available to you today then you are missing out on the fullness of our Supernatural God. He speaks to people through dreams and Visions I’ve had personal encounters of Dreams that have given me warnings and kept me in the right path. This is just one of the ways how God speaks to us. Just like he spoke to Joseph in dreams and Daniel in dreams. God is the same yesterday today and forever. Hebrew 13:8

      • Another thought March 6, 2021 at 11:25 pm #

Why do you say visitations by angels contradict Collosions 3? When my 51 yr old daughter suffered a major heart attack, I prayed for her. God sent two angels, I saw them. They were beings of light with upheld hands. I did not pray for angels and I don’t pray to angels. I prayed for healing from the Father through Jesus Christ, which she received.. Our Father is merciful sending messengers if he so chooses. That doesn’t mean I believe in the NAR or Ms Johnson running around shouting “WAKEY, WAKEY.” But our God does not have his hands tied. He can do and does as he pleases. Praise His Holy Name.

Your handle says everything, what Sid Roth espouses is not the gospel, he expounds a different gospel, so the short answer is: no, it’s not good news. Again, as I posted above Sid Roth has been exposed time and time again as the wolf that he is, if you want a real assessment of the man, Google Sid Roth heresies. There are many good discernment ministries on line that have great amounts of research information. By the way, it should be I LOVE JESUS CHRIST, not a man………specially a false pastor named Sid Roth.

      • I love Sid Roth October 16, 2016 at 9:36 pm #

I LOVE JESUS CHRIST! I also love the teachings that I have learned from the episodes I have seen on his show! Look, this is not e even about Sid roth, this is about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in His Will. If you have that God Bless You, but just know that God is Supernatural and as long as you have the Holy Spirit guiding you, you should be able to discern what is false teaching And what is not I don’t need google lto tell me, because I am filled with the Holy Spirit. Again I apologize if I offended anyone, but I know that what Sid Wroth is doing is a good thing and I just HAD to share that. God Bless you guys and I will leave you alone now! ?

  5. I love Sid Roth October 13, 2016 at 8:35 pm #

  6. I love Sid Roth October 13, 2016 at 8:52 pm #

Ok some of the stuff you have on here is good like stuff about yoga and the occult and stuff like that but most of that stuff you’re talking about I learned from Sid Roth so I don’t understand why you wustion his theology. I have bought many books from his show and have learned so much about the kingdom of GOD so I don’t get what you guys are promoting. A friend of mine was reaching one of his shoes and got healing in her knees. Do you guys not believe in healing? It’s that it? I’m just trying to understand this theology that though are taking about that send took need not good. I don’t get it!

    As for James Goll:

This was written by Amy a couple of years back for Stand Up For The Truth, when that site was any good. Goll, at best is a lier at worst he’s possessed.

Here’s a great response to the question, “who is Sid Roth.”

“He is a Messianic Jew who arose out of the New Age doctrines. He obviously brings many of those heresies with him – when he teaches “How to know God”, he tells people that God will come live on the inside of them when they repeat a little prayer – whether they believe that prayer or not! He doesn’t preach the gospel, he teaches goats how to act a little bit like sheep. He also promotes a rising new heresy called Soaking. It is promoted as a sort of “prayer meeting” where individuals pray or meditate together in order to get closer to God. The truth is, these meetings arise out of a Messianic Jewish doctrine which teaches Jews are the root of salvation, instead of Christ. It teaches people that they must become like Jews to have fire and power in their congregations. (Celebrating the OT feasts, worshiping in Hebrew, abiding by the law) It is not anti-semitic to point out that the Apostle Paul warned about Judaizers who try to come into the church. Paul wasn’t anti-semitic, he WAS born Jewish. But the gospel of grace and the works of the law will never mix. One is freedom and liberty in Christ, the other is bondage and deception with Jerusalem which now is. (Galatians)

Be careful here – you may not realize it right away, but you will also find worshipers of the Star of Remphan (New Age/occult) in these groups…it starts off subtle, but eventually that demonic spirit will come in and try to take over. People are gullible, and if Christians listen to men like Roth instead of reading their Bibles, then it will be easy to get caught up in this sort of bondage.

If you listen to how Sid Roth describes his “new birth” experience, notice that he himself prayed a prayer that he didn’t believe (Romans 10 – you can’t call on a Savior you don’t believe in), and now he’s teaching others to do the same.

Paul said let any who preaches another “gospel” which is NOT the gospel, let them be accursed. Sid Roth preaches another gospel which is not another.

Do not fall for his doctrines! He professes Jesus, but he perverts the gospel. You can’t have one without the other.”

    http://www.christianresearchservice.com/who-is-sid-roth-does-he-teach-the-truth/

One last question, do you think the church replaced Israel? Did God renounce His promises to Israel and passed them along to the church?

  9. Manny1962 October 14, 2016 at 6:19 pm #

This has been attributed to aspurgeon:

“An evil is in the professed camp of the Lord, so gross in its impudence, that the most shortsighted can hardly fail to notice it during the past few years. It has developed at an abnormal rate, even for evil. It has worked like leaven until the whole lump ferments. The devil has seldom done a cleverer thing than hinting to the church that part of their mission is to provide entertainment for the people, with a view to winning them.

From speaking out as the Puritans did, the church has gradually toned down her testimony, then winked at and excused the frivolities of the day. Then she tolerated them in her borders. Now she has adopted them under the plea of reaching the masses.

My first contention is that providing amusement for the people is nowhere spoken of in the Scriptures as a function of the church. If it is a Christian work, why did not Christ speak of it? “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). That is clear enough. So it would have been if He had added, “and provide amusement for those who do not relish the gospel.” No such words, however, are to be found. It did not seem to occur to him.

Then again, “He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers .., for the work of the ministry” (Eph. 4:11-12). Where do entertainers come in? The Holy Spirit is silent concerning them. Were the prophets persecuted because they amused the people or because they refused? The concert has no martyr roll.”

Again, providing amusement is in direct antagonism to the teaching and life of Christ and all his apostles. What was the attitude of the church to the world? Ye are the salt” (Matt. 5:13), not the sugar candy—something the world will spit out not swallow. Short and sharp was the utterance, “Let the dead bury their dead” (Matt. 8:22) He was in awful earnestness.

Had Christ introduced more of the bright and pleasant elements into his mission, he would have been more popular when they went back, because of the searching nature of His teaching. I do not hear him say, “Run after these people Peter and tell them we will have a different style of service tomorrow, something short and attractive with little preaching. We will have a pleasant evening for the people. Tell them they will be sure to enjoy it. Be quick Peter, we must get the people somehow.” Jesus pitied sinners, sighed and wept over them, but never sought to amuse them.

In vain will the Epistles be searched to find any trace of this gospel of amusement! Their message is, “Come out, keep out, keep clean out!” Anything approaching fooling is conspicuous by its absence. They had boundless confidence in the gospel and employed no other weapon.

After Peter and John were locked up for preaching, the church had a prayer meeting but they did not pray, “Lord grant unto thy servants that by a wise and discriminating use of innocent recreation we may show these people how happy we are.” If they ceased not from preaching Christ, they had not time for arranging entertainments. Scattered by persecution, they went everywhere preaching the gospel. They turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6). That is the only difference! Lord, clear the church of all the rot and rubbish the devil has imposed on her, and bring us back to apostolic methods.

Lastly, the mission of amusement fails to effect the end desired. It works havoc among young converts. Let the careless and scoffers, who thank God because the church met them halfway, speak and testify. Let the heavy laden who found peace through the concert not keep silent! Let the drunkard to whom the dramatic entertainment has been God’s link in the chain of the conversion, stand up! There are none to answer. The mission of amusement produces no converts. The need of the hour for today’s ministry is believing scholarship joined with earnest spirituality, the one springing from the other as fruit from the root. The need is biblical doctrine, so understood and felt, that it sets men on fire.

  10. I love Sid Roth October 16, 2016 at 9:01 pm #

Ok. I think I get it. You don’t believe in miracles but you do believe in the Word, right? Well here’s two Biblical scripture verses for you. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. If I remember correctly Jesus did miracles in the Bible right? So that means He’s doing them today. He also said that we (believers) would be doing these things. See John Chapter 14 verse 12 where it says very truly I tell you whoever believes in me will do the work I have been doing and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the father. Also, it seems you have a problem with Modern day prophets. Well in the Bible days as I’m sure you know God sent d prophets throughout history to guide and warn his people. Through Jeremiah the prophet God said since the day that your father came out of the land of Egypt until this day I have even sent you all my servants the prophets daily rising up early and sending them yet they did not obey Jeremiah 7:26. So my question to you is if God sent prophets in the bible so the people would turn back to Him why would He not do that today. Like the scripture says, Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever. ?

Jesus still heals people. I wrote a book about the miracles I witnessed as a physician. I think it is $2.99 ebook on Amazon called I WITNESSED MIRACLES. I think the hook is that Jesus does the healings, not men. He uses us to put oil on, but he does the work.. in the verse where he says if they have faith they can move mountains, the verse is followed by a sentence saying they can have what they pray for. That sentence is never preached.

  11. Manny1962 October 16, 2016 at 9:23 pm #

All true prophets had to meet one criteria……….infallibility. The result of presumptious sin was stoning. Sid Roth is no prophet, he also entertains those who presume to be prophets like Mark Blitz and his blood moon fiasco:

    http://sidroth.org/sem/blood-moons/

Or uber huckster, date setting, “replacionist” and Kabbala practitioner Jonathan Cahn:

    http://sidroth.org/television/tv-archives/jonathan-cahn-0/

No prophet of God will intermingle with very well known wolves.

Roth is not turning anyone back to God.

  12. Manny1962 October 17, 2016 at 12:58 pm #

No I don’t mind in the least! What is important is getting the word out and warning others! And thanks!

  13. Manny1962 October 17, 2016 at 1:03 pm #

Please remember, an ounce of leaven will spoil a ton of truth. These wolves operate by mixing an ounce of leaven with a ton of truth, it sounds good, but it’s a bitter pill to swallow! That’s why daily bible reading and prayer is a must for surviving today’s “Christian” landscape. Given how big the apostasy has grown, coupled with the political climate brewing around the world and the absolute decay of morality, there can be no other option except the day of the The Lord’s return grows nearer!

Love one another…I discern that everyone leaving comments is not showing love. No matter how someone feels, every person is taking snippets of Scripture to make others appear that one is more knowledgeable than the next.

Turn back to Jesus…Every. Single. Commentator.
Jesus already died for our sins and covered us with His Grace, Love, and Truth. Leave the criticism behind and ask DAILY for wisdom from God.

Let us all show love and take Communion daily to make sure we recognize His mercy, love, and be conscious of our Lord and why He died. Stop thinking of yourselves. Just be I truly in a personal relationship with Jesus, no matter how important your “worldly” education is.

Stop earthly criticism and show God’s love to all. I have to work on this daily and hope you all will, too. ❤️

  16. Another view March 6, 2021 at 11:56 pm #

This philosophy is incorrect and not biblical. I don’t believe it is discernment either. We are told in the Scriptures that wolves in sheep‘s clothing will enter the church and will deceive the people of God. The first sign of the end times is deception. It is essential that the people of God call into question behaviors or theologies that are not consistent with the word of God in people who present themselves publicly as teachers or profits. Jesus commanded us to do so. The apostles also warned us. It is very foolish to go through life ignoring that the enemy attacks the church through false teachers. They should be exposed publicly because their audience is public. We must be as kind as we can but it is not about oneupsmanship. It’s about protecting the body of Christ.
